b40rt
Forks need to brought in for a start. I'm told the frames are double walled, so its always going to be comparativly heavy.
charlie prescott
Hi Guy's. Done one last year, Didn't alter the steering head angle, although it is a bit relaxed, Removed every conceivable bracket and lug, unbelievable weight when all put in a bucket. shortened the rear subframe ,and the most important mod, pulled the seat tubes in, what you will have to watch doing this is that you leave enough room for a straight run with the carb and filter. Yes the frame is heavy but then so is the rest if you use the original wheels hubs forks etc. But you will have a bike that will last a lifetime without a lot of maintenance. PS Thinking of putting a chair on ours, should help me knees, cos i wont have to stand on the pegs a lot. but i pity the passenger. Regard's Charlie.
