markc
I need a flywheel / ignition cover and prefer a stronger (and expectedly less expensive) aftermarket one but I cannot seem to find anything on the web. With the exception of the TYZ250 (which I could not find anything), are there any other Yamaha models that used the same basic engine? Thanks, Mark Edited May 11, 2009 by MarkC
mickmetcalfe
Been thinking exactly the same myself. Basically, there isnt anything so I'm just in the process of getting on and making my own. I hope to be able to release some details and pictures in the next few weeks but please bear with me. Obviously, the more interest there is, the better the price but its not going to be cheap!!!!! paulmac
If you're thinking of making them in Carbon you can add me to customer list. Paul Mac Edited May 14, 2009 by paulmac
bigmike1961
Got any further with the flywheel covers?
somerset steve
Would anyone be interested in carbon effect HIPS covers that would slip over the existing side case? I would be able to VAC form over the original side cover and provide a protective outer that would fit straight over the original. This would give protection against all thoes knocks and also make an older cover look sexy again.
nottoogood
Personally....i'd still be more interested in a complete unit....not a slip on
