brokeback
Just starting again after a 12yr break, can't remember the correct tyre pressures for competition use, all replies welcome
jimmyl
For adult rider on Michelin's would suggest 4 psi rear, front 5.5psi Get good quality low pressure gauge. If weather warms up check a few times as can easily rise 1/2 psi
brokeback
Thanks Jimmy, I'll try them out, I got myself a nice new Apico 0-15psi gauge that should do the trick
jimmyl
check each tyre 3 or 4 times in succession to get a steady reading. Don't just go on first reading
bowellsyboy
I have IRC tyres and run the back at between 2 1/2 - 3 psi if there is no rocks and go up to 3 1/2 if there is lots of rocks. I run the front at 4 1/2 in all conditions unless is really muddy and then drop to 4.
