outlaw dave
The first two rounds of the new WEC Canadian Championship Trials Series were held on the May long weekend in Summerland BC. - With 54 riders on Saturday, 55 on Sunday and 11 for the Vintage on Monday, a good time was had by all. The winner of the Champ class on both days, was Steve Foord, who recently emigrated from the UK - Steve was well known as a minder for both Graham Jarvis and Sam Connor. - The Sherco rider soon adapted to the Canadian terrain, and beat out the top riders from Vancouver and the West coast. Pics and full results can be seen on www.outlawtrials.com.
toofasttim
Hey Dave, how do you layout sections at that venue? Cut a whole in the bottom of the bag and leave them where they fall? What a venue, the sections are just asking to be marked out.
outlaw dave
Hey Tim - Yes it's a great area. and one we have used for about 20 years - finding lines through the same sections for six classes proved to be quite a challenge this year, but it all worked out great. YOu can go to www.mattfracy.com to read the full story, plus the story to come tonight from this past weekends PNTA championship ride!!! He did have the lowest loop score in his class both days, and the most cleans as well on day two! Oh and by far the youngest rider in Intermediate class. Very proud of him!
