hurstie
The poor running does not happen until the engine gets hot,its un ridable as the engine coughs, splutters and backfires up to about 1/3 throttle.starting the engine once its got to this state is a dangerous operation as it violantly kicks back through the kickstart.Once the engine is cold it starts easily and runs fine until hot again ????? ANY IDEAS WOULD BE MUCH APPRETIATED

stork955
Gday, in no particular order, have you checked the valve clearances? What does the plug look like? Air filter clean and oiled? Cheers, Stork

nzralphy
Sounds like the timing is out so suggest it is electronic fault. There is a slim chance you have a blocked idle jet, or faulty hot start button?
