dabomb
My mate has a rev3 125,which has developed a rattle. We took the barrel off and discovered that the little end was worn and thought that this was causing the propblem. There was also a bit of an area at top of the bore which looked worn, about 10mm from top of bore and about 15mm wide. Not sure what caused this.We replaced the bearing and gudgeon pin and gave it a new set of rings. When the bike was fired up,the rattle was a lot better but still there. When we had the barrel of,we noticed some sideways play in the big end,but no up down play.Could the play be causing the rattle?,or has anybody got any other ideas? Thanks in advance. PS it an 05 model Edited June 10, 2009 by dabomb
