grim6869
I have just changed the oil in my 94 250 contact and it was full up to the filler plug with the old stuff so i filled it back to the same level but it took just about a litre which seems an awful lot. I cant seem to find any manuals for the bike so am a bit in the dark. Any idea how much it needs? If I have too much in will it do any damage? gt32
Hiya Grim, I asked a similar question a few months back about my 93' 327 Contact, and if I remember correctly (cant find the old post) I was advised to use 750ml. If that's the case (others confirm?) then I cant imagine your bottom ends to dissimilar to mine, so you'll be a little over at a litre. black_knight
Hi, I have a 93 Contact GT-16. Just been in the garage for various bits and mechanic advised 450ML for mine. Yours may well be a bit more but a over a litre seems a lot.
grim6869
Thanks for the responses, I ended up putting 750ml in. but it makes no difference now as some thieving git managed to get into my garage and steal it. Got myself a jtx 250 to replace it and a good alarm and lots of bolts.
