pistonbroke
I have taken off the rear shock absorber on my sons cabby '07 to grease the swing arm bearings and the linkage bearings as well. I cannot remember which way round the rear shock should be ie. the spring at the top or bottom . could somebody please check another cabby if possible and advise please ? In the parts manual it shows it with the spring at the top but the shocker has marks on it where i think it has caught on something that would suggest the spring at the bottom. Any help would be appreciated , this is driving me crackers !!!!!!!!! thanks Phil

john.b
so thats with the damper adjustment screw at the top next to the exhaust?regards bob The adjuster screw on the 07's is at the bottom of the shock as is the spring, the shock will only fit one way. Impossible to fit it upside down anyway!
