I shall not knock Michael any more, he was the top man in pop music for decades. The money, the productions, the showmanship, mostly trendsetting and sometimes awesome, and few if any compare over time, at least of the generation. Specially to such a wide audience, worldwide!

The fact he was weird(at best) in his personal life, well? If money is no object? Give it a go!

When everyone wants to sue you for a piece?

I did my brief pittance in his memory. And in the words of another old friend that come to mind reguarding Jim Morrison of "The Doors"------

He Is HOT!

He Is SEXY!

and

He Is DEAD!

R.I.P.~!!!!

Certain things remain, as I think I stated, may still have the first Jackson 5 album somewhere.

Other things were a first, I seem to recall the huge promotion of the "Thriller" video released on MTV!!!!(still in its infancy in the 80's ) A world debut! It was simulcast, I think! And I (of few) had the ****e! S.T.E.R.E.O.--TV !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the BIG 26" SONY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I were in the cool zone!

"BAD" was another shocker in itself! Fact is I have found that any time one can play HITS from ONE artist untill you puke(and you know most all the words), there is something to be said here.

The promotion was great, moreso than the Beatles in the 60's! All I can say is it stood the test of time, still fun to watch!

I think you're losing your grip there Mark  ( I chose that emoticon wisely).

The state of California(?) had to change their laws after Mr. Jackson settled out of court one time.

I hope people are mourning the loss of the artist not the man.

It's strange how some people react to this affair.

Y'know when his brothers were carrying that huge coffin, for some reason, I couldn't get a certain film out of my head... I think it was called Cool Runnings....

Loosing it? Na, just done with it!

The latest today on the MSN was the city of LA wanting peeps to chuff up for their mistake on the big memorial! Semms they were expecting 125,000 to show, and only 1.000 did, therefore the city was out millions on overtime pay for the 2,300 coppers they ordered up!

Friggin idiots! It just never ends!
