Guest Scottie
Anyone know how this trial went. Gary was supposed to be there but unfortunately has a chest infection. Sandra
shadwell
Great Trial, poor observers, especially ones standing in 6" of snow.

eiger
Yes it was a cracking trial and all credit to team 'Manchester 17' who, despite some extreme weather conditions on the run-up to the event, made it perfect for the top lads as well as the clubman. The sections couldn't have been better and it was obvious a great deal of hard work had gone into this event. Just one point though, if your bike isn't registered and insured, don't compete in a trial which uses public roads. I'm not bothered if you fall off and hurt yourself but if you hit someone else or if they hit you on the road then the proverbial will hit the fan. The Police can and will stop a trial from taking place and I don't want my sport being affected by some a**wipe who either thinks it is clever or is just too tight to pay to make the bike legal enough to insure it. mac
Eiger Thanks for your help on Sunday glad you managed to finish.Pleased I got to the end as well, had a better 2nd lap than 1st.Do you get a finshers award !!!!! Your spot on as well considering the conditons 17 did a brilliant job must have been even more snow when they laid out the sections. eiger
Thanks Mac, enjoyed riding round with you, and I don't remember giving you any help! Must admit I was pretty knackered at the end but what a belting trial, even got me thinking of upgrading the Yam to a more modern bike! Eiger. Andy
Full results for this have just gone up on the front page. Would have been sooner, but I've been away.
hillary
Yes, agree with everything, brilliant trial, the Lakes needs to be this level of severity then I can ride and not have to observe.
