Have just purchased a TL 250 1975 Model after looking for over 8 years , I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any difference between the 75 & 76 apart from the colour of the side cover decals (on the 75 they are Red & Orange and the 76 they are just Orange) any info on TL's would be much appreciated, also as I will be restoring this bike slowly does anyone know if you can do anything to bring the alloy cases of the engine back to shiny again, I have been told of using a very light wire brush on a drill to buff them but am not sure ..... Cheers rock1

Thanks for the quick replys, Autosol sounds like a good start thanks B40RT, I will check about the Vapour blasting as well Woody as that obviously sounds like a motor out and pulled apart and off to the blasting shop type job, motomike I have just found out that the motors were painted as new and did not know that so thanks, and I would put some photo's on here Ross but when I click insert image in edit it asks for a URL, I thought I might be able to just drag and drop the photo's?? any help on how to insert photo's would be great  Cheers rock1
