I`m off to Florida on the 11th of December till the 26th and wondered if there are any trials related events on around the Kissimee area during that time and any trials shops to look up also.

Its a family holiday so wife and kids will be tagging along if there is anything on....but she doesnt know yet, best left till the last minute and say "I`m sure I said something about it before we came".

I came back from working in Southern France a while ago and missed a really good event due to work commitments ....hope that wont happen this time.

Regards

Sadly me too, don't know why I agreed to it off on the 16th December. Christmas day at disney, what am I thinking of.............

Yeah, but it's natural for the old biddies to go off somewhere warmer in the cold season. we expect it ;)

FTA has a trial near Webster, FL about 1 to 1.5 hrs drive from Orlando on Dec. 12. This is a terrific riding place, an old limerock quarry. Take your swim trunks and maybe the guys will show you the place to do cliff diving into the lake. Mind the alligators, they are real, this is not Disneyland!

If you go to the FTA page on the southeastern trials riders website at:

http://setrialsriders.org/eve/ubb.x?a=tpc&...161&m=822106107

then I think you can contact Barry Florin via that site and get a flyer and directions.

Not at all Andy ;) It was an offer that I couldnt refuse to take from Thomas Cook

I would like to see what trials events are like for the ordinary clubman in other countries.Meet nice friendly people and maybe blag a ride on a bike or 2 to while I`m there.....

If its anything like other events that they put on over there ....should be pretty good.

Mr Dabster....I cant wait to go either...never mind the kids.

BTW.Hope its easy to find...dont fancy getting lost in a foreign country driving on the wrong side of the road... :D:D    ;)    :D    :D

Nick, they drive on the right side of the road in the USA, how can it be the wrong side if it's the right :(

Seriously though, a lot of people could do trials exchanges from the US and UK, bike lodging and an event.

Same language, "well sort of" untill they buggered it up it was the same.

I have posted before I would host someone who wanted to take in an event and see what it's like over this side of the pond.

School kids do it all the time, why not trials riders.

You could always come to Australia in October for some good trials.

1/2 Victorian State Championships

9 Australian Masters Games in South Australia

followed by the Australian Championships in Queensland.

Two or three weeks of trials in Australia, what could be better than that.

If anyone wants to come drop me a line and I'll see if I can organise bikes.
