Trials Central Wants Your News!

Rewarding those who take the time to post their club news and results on Trials Central is something that has been looked at for some time here on TC.

I thought about offering free score cards to contributing clubs, but then everybody has different ways of doing scoring.

I thought about offering section markers, but everybody does that differently too - some use plastic cards and wire, some use bamboo poles and flags etc etc. When the budget is zero, you get by as best you can by using what you have to hand.

I'm very conscious that the Clubs and those who take the time to post their news and results here are part of the lifeblood of this site so it's only fair they are the first to be rewarded.

Starting from today, anyone who posts 10 post-event articles from their Club events will receive a FREE Trials Central polo shirt.

On top of that, when you get to 20 articles I'll send you a FREE Trials Central fleece.

Over the years I've been through the clothing thing from the cheap and nasty when Trials Central first started to now where we have good, solid clothing that will last, is pretty exclusive (only myself and Mike Rapley have the current clothing) and will make you the envy of your Trials buddies!

Note that this applies to POST-EVENT results and reports. Sticking upcoming events on the TC events calendar then not providing any post-event follow-up doesn't count!

I see this is the beginning of rewarding Clubs for being part of TC, not the end. I'd be interested to hear from Clubs what they would like to see in return for their contributions (Ferrari's, lapdancing girls etc are out - the budget only goes so far!)

If you're already posting results etc on TC then just Contact Me when you reach 10 post-event reports from today. I'll verify things and get your shirt ordered in the size you want.

If you're not currently registered then why not?! You can do so by clicking here. It costs you nothing and even if you have your own Club website already, posting your results etc on Trials Central is proven to grow traffic to your website and grows your potential membership.

Note - I will rely on people to contact me to make their claims for shirts/fleeces as I won't be able to keep track of individual contributions. I will, however, be able to check every claim is valid! ;-) - just email trialscentral AT trialscentral.com

PS. Yes, Perce. You are already taken into account ;-)

I think the full story needs to be out...........................................4 years ago Andy very kindly gave a TC Fleece to auction for charity on Scott Trial night. I was helping on stage & doing a bit of bidding to keep things ticking along. The TC Fleece was knocked down to me, it was way to small for me so I gave it to Highland Lassie who in turn paid Andy who was supposed to forward a correct size one on to me. Anyway I'm still waiting, I think the ******* must have asked me about the size, colour & type at least 3 times, he just keeps teasing me.

Not at all. It's just that I can't find a company that do fleeces in fat t**t size
