grahamcota
Hi to you all I have recently(3 months ago) rebuilt my 97 270 techno.I only got round to starting it yesterday as i have been very busy with work etc. I put in new piston, rings, smallend and gudgeon pin etc. When i went to start it yesterday it is running really rough. It wont tick over on its own and when you get ready to kick it over you can hear awhoosh sound coming from the air intake. Any ideas?

nicbrrghs
Hi, Check for leaks on the air hose joints, that is carb to rubber hose and then hose to airbox, if not check fit of reed assembly all these can cause those symptoms. Good luck.
