city trials
Keep those feet on the pegs. --Biff Good advice for a team that scored over 300 points and came in last place.
joekarter
I think it's exceptionally cool that we have a team making the effort! Way to go folks and thanks for representing us. Joe

kramit
Perhaps if Pat had stayed the distance then the score would have been much better? Perhaps you could translate this into ENGLISH or at least tell the rest of the story.
the observer
I guess Lane is back. Gernhart isnt Lane , he just wants to be
kramit
Pat finished near the top of his class at the second event in northern Ireland (4th) with as many cleans as anyone except the winner. He was within a few marks of second place. Had he stayed in Europe or at least competed in many more events I think America could have had a future WTC star.Clear enough? Whats clear is you should have said this the first time.
motofire
Perhaps if Pat had stayed the distance then the score would have been much better? I agree...I really wish he stayed on the World stage. Though I am sure he has his reasons and respect that.

motofire
Whats the story on the Japanese DNS? They had no funding for a team this year.
the observer
Whats the story on the Japanese DNS? Take your pick: No funding, injured top riders, threats from FJM because they didin't win last year, a dog ate their riding gear, fear of seeing Gernhart or Dabster there or both. no jive
They had no funding for a team this year. So there you go. USA has their act together and sends a team. So everyone who bought a shirt or donated in some way is part of the team. Did the USA Team move down to the B class, No way. There is always one Jackass who want to bring everyone down. Could be a result of childhood problems, neglect, abuse or emotional torture. Maybe Ringo needs to threaten to kick his a$$ again and shut him up, just like last year. So I am still proud of our team and think they did an outstanding job. Edited September 26, 2009 by No Jive
