scotty97
My mate has bought a 1996 gasser jtr270 and the fork seals are knackered. can anyone one tell me how to strip the forks, i stripped them on my 99 txt270, which look very similar except for the adjusters on the top of the legs. also how much fork oil goes in each leg and what weigh oil would he need as he's approx 16 stone?? Jon ps. Scotty97, You can e-mail me personally off the GasGasUSA website Tech section and I'll work with you on the forks. At 224 lbs rider weight, we will probably want to make a few adjustments on the forks while servicing them. Cheers.
