joshhewitt7
hi all i was looking at a pic of alex farrer's sherco a couple weeks back and he (and quite a few others actually) have got like a canaster sort of thing attached to the frame with like a tube going towards the direction of the rear shock ? i was just wondering what it is and what it does ? cant really explain it in any other way ! thanks Edited September 27, 2009 by joshhewitt7
thespikeyone
I was wondering the same thing, I think ross danby has the same on his gasser and watching the ladies on eurosport they had a few too. I remember the ty250R had a cannister that was used to adjust the damping I think. I'm sure someone more informed will answer.

lee harris
its a remiote reservoir from an ohlins shock, uses gas chanber so the oilcan expand without shock rate or damping changing at temperature

slapshot 3
Another of these eveolution changes that happens with components. Remote reservoirs, piggy back reservoirs none they are all out there if you look, my 02 beta has a piggy back version. As Lee says its to allow the Shocker to work better without compromising damping rates etc.
