pedronicman
Castrol 747 is a mineral castor oil not semi or fully synthetic. It does not mix well in cold temperatures and is one of the most expensive 2 stroke oils to get hold of. If i were you i would use Castrol TTS (545 in old terms) which is fully synthetic, i have used this for years.

marky boy
747 all day and year long. The best and only 2 stroke oil worth having imho, you get the smell and also the best oil avaliable for a 2t. Considering the amount that you have to put into a modern 2t, ie around 80:1 with this stuff one bottle will last ages anyway.Plus never try and save a few quid and run cheap oil, i mean really what is the point? I have run it in a kx 500 supermoto and all my 2t trials bikes and never had and engine or oil problem, speaks for itself really
