baldilocks
Anyone tried the Jitsie Linkage protector for the Gas Gas ? I have damaged the linkage on mine when I have caught it on rocks i have been trying to ride over and this in turn has damaged the seal allowing water to get into the bearings. I'm just wondering if that linkage protector will provide sufficient protection to prevent me doing the same again if I replace the dogbones ? cheers

zuendapp
My friend and I both installed the Jitsie linkage protector on our 2014 GasGas. My linkage did have some slight scrapes before I installed it. As with any time you remove / loosen your GasGas aluminum skid plate, it will take some choice words and a friend to help you get the Jitsie plate installed. Well worth the price for your GasGas
crazybond700
If you have difficulties re-mounting the bash plate it is bend. Try to bend it back. The bashplate is a part of the strength of the frame. I use some nylon blocks to possition the plate under a press. Then count the ammount of pulls on the lever of the press. The first part bending nothing happens, after a certain ammount of strech it will. Do mine every half year or so. Takes some time but its back in normal bend.
