pete_scorpa3
I've been searching the online auction sites for a replacement light switch for a Beta Rev3 but with no luck. I would have thought that plenty are removed and never used again, but no luck. I want it to replace one that I fitted to my trail bike, they are ideal for MOT's as they have lights, horn, kill but no indicator switch. If anyone has an old one they no longer need would you please pm me. Cheers. Pete
chewy
I've been down this road too....natty unit made of crap ..... I did find that after a while right inside the switch bit you get arcing or tracking of current ..and that you can resolder the wire to the second or other point on the switch blade this doubles the life (albeit to 12 to 18 months in total). like you imagine there should be hundreds of the critters lying around the place. pete_scorpa3
My one has actually lasted ok until I threw the bike down the road on ice whilst opening the Colmore last year, the tarmac ground the switches almost completely away but it still works.. after a fashion! 2shock
Hello I've got one of the switches you're looking for (it's sure to be in the garage somewhere!) that as you've guessed was taken of my un-resistered '08 Rev 3 recently. You're welcome to it for the cost of post and packing. Let me know where to send it to (not sure how you can do this?) and i'll stick it in the post Cheers
