yeoblade
C'mon, c'mon it's nearly D-day..what's happening?? The suspense.......................... IT's fixed Just found out this afternoon. I'm not exactly sure what, as I will get the full story from BVM tomorrow. I belive it was the stator, once I know for sure I'll post the full outcome. Anyway off for my training day tomorrow, wish it had been working for the last 3 weeks and I could have practiced a bit. Wonder if it will snow? yeoblade
I don't believe you ,show me a video .So am I right in thinking that West Country Windings let you down? Yes, Well wound me up actually. Yes it was the stator all the time, the triggers. New stator fitted by BVM - Fixed What I went for first of all, and paid to get repaired, and made no difference, and then searched for the fault........................................................................ but I just couldn't find it! A video of a rev3 working ? No, there's loads of those on Youtube, but there is one of my GX160 Honda working.
stork955
Gday, its good that it is fixed. Seems weird that the stator repair was initially unsucessfull... that doesnt help diagnosis eh! Usually triggers fail completely or only work at higher revs. You learn something new every day:-) Merry Xmas to all, Stork

No wonder we do have issues! The symptoms seem to vary, as well as the solutions!
