andy m
Just wondering what boots others are happy with. I have Novogars which have worn through on the inside of the right boot in front of heel. (found this out stood in a stream yesterday) they are nearly 6 yrs old. I don't know if this is a common place for them to go?? I have found them a comfortable boot but may go for another make if I can find ones that are maybe stronger in that area. I will be going to BVM they seem to have a wide range . Any to steer clear of or any recommendations worth a look at. Thanks in advance. bowergas
I picked up a pair of oiled Gaerne boots from BVM a few weeks ago they a fab so far very comfy and well made, I grease em up with nikwax to keep them flexi. I got 17 years out of my last pair of No Stop Alpines........ lack of bike for 14 of those years! JB
the addict
Gaernes for me, although the last pair I bought did deteriate quite quickly, but they are well comfy. The Surgeon to date has managed to get 14 years out of his although he doesnt do much touching of the ground like me

Guest stixnstonesbrokemybones
On and Off boots come well up, and have a good sole that stands up to titanium pegs. They give you firm support. Gok Wan wears them. They are supple enough for pole dancing as well as trials. I have been drinking beer. telecat
NYL really likes the SIDI Trials boots. He's had two pairs(growing lad) and is planning on getting a spare pair. His current ones are the White version.
