malcra Posted December 3, 2009 Report Share Posted December 3, 2009 Hmm, I went climbing in El Chorro last year (April 2008) after spending 3 days drinking at a conference in Malaga, having not been the area for twenty years or so. The authorities have purposely blown up the first 40-50m of the path, so its an interesting traverse to get to the path proper. You have to dash up the railway line, across a bridge and through some tunnels to get to the start, with the interesting possibility of a large fine AFAIR. The climbing in the gorge is some of the best in Europe and the grades a bit out of my league nowadays, good to watch others climbing there now: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
