I thought I'd let you know that my mate had an attempted scam on the bike he is selling on TC It went along the lines of : 'Please will mail me pics of the bike and I will pay you the price you ask' 'Send your details of banking and I will pay money to bank with your address I can arrange pickup and shipping of bike' I know its obvious but the younger members on TC may not be wise to this kind of thing ! Also he had a bloke phone up 'about the bike' just asking for his address so that he can 'come and look at the TRAIL bike'. No questions about the bike at all ! Yeah right Where do you live so I can come round and nick the bike !!! No cash ? No Viewing ! Meet any people who are interested in your bike at least 2 miles from your home and after seeing the cash and sussing them out take them to see the bike via a long complicated route !
