shercoman2k8
Wheel in the dropouts straight? (same amount of adjustment on each chain snail adjuster) Wheel should run straight. Your wheel bearings okay? First two things to check
goreboy
cheers for that, but wheel bearings are new, and wheel is running straight. Cheers

gasgasmi
This is a problem with all the JTs I ever had. You can usually bend it out but I crash a lot and it always went back to rubbing. I had a patch welded on the inside of the silencer that I'm guessing was a bit thicker than the metal that the silencer is made of, still rubbed but never went through. I've seen guys rivet a patch on which allows for a quick change if it does wear out. Trick to that is getting it bent right so it doesn't reduce clearance. It was really nice when they went to the welded one piece exhaust ('07 I think?) haven't had it move a bit although I did have to space it out as it was rubbing right out of the crate.
