sawtooth
I need some new bars, am wanting to fit braceles bars so i'm guessing i have a few choices: Standard Beta (2007, 2008, 2009 or 2010) Pro-Taper Renthal The bike is a 2003 but fitted with 2008 yokes for fatter bars, i would like something along the lines of standard Rev 3 2007, 2008 rise, are standard Beta bars any good, expensive? Or should i opt for an aftermarket bar, if so, what bend/rise/sweep should i be looking at to match the standard Beta setup. stork955
Gday, I had Renthals on my Techno, they are very good, but I imagine they are all pretty good. As far as what matches the Beta bend, I have no idea. The bars on my Evo are actually made by an Italian company who's name escapes me now, but that is not necessarily the same company who made the ones you currently use or what Beta fitted to the 08's. anyoldiron
I have a 2008 with standard bars.I use the bike alot and have had numerous offs and they have remained in one piece.Remarkably so.I would certainly recommend them on this but I guess it depends how much they are.Might be pricey being a factory spare part. They also suit me in terms of rise etc.I am quite tall.I think Neken is the brand Edited January 3, 2010 by anyoldiron
sawtooth
Cheers guys, i'll stop in at my local dealers tomorrow and see what the standard Beta bars cost, if they turn out pricey then i'll look at an alternative
