Well we are going the MSM Insurance route for No.1 son's trials bike, however the maximum cover they provide is TPFT, comprehensive is not available on their policy! There are also security requirements which we more than comply with in any case. But for events like the SSDT or Reeth 3 Day its a worthy contract, remember for the SSDT, the Locktons RTA insurance is "supplementary RTA insurance" for the event only (a bit like the old rally drivers between stages cover of old), it does not cover you prior to or after the event itself! This is a common misconseption, the acid test is this, can your insurance be used to actually tax the bike? If it can't, then you aint covered properly! - Beware, check it out with your usual insurance broker or contact MSM for a quote! MSM confirmed that the bike was covered for the SSDT and any recognised trial event using the public highway to interconnect the course! Job done, just the cover needed, I can recommend MSM Insurance. Big John (I have no commercial connection with MSM Insurance, but I don't do recommendations unless I'm satisfied!)
