skyline
Hi all. Any help would be great. I have a set of alpinestar boots from road riding & a brand new pair of sidi road boots which are what i call only 3\4 length. Although they have a good grip on the trials footrest & have good shin, ankle & toe support. But i am led to believe they are no good for trials type riding. When i ask at places like woosters etc they say trials boots are trials boots. But looking on e-bay & web in general they are mostly advertised as Trials, enduro, motorcross boots. Whats the differenc & basicaly what the H--L do i need to look for. HEEEEELP. Steve. LEEDS.
houseape1000
as long as theyre grippy, and flexible, and protected, and you're comfortable in them, they're fine......
alan
moto x /enduro boots generally have more armour and the sole and ankle is less flexible than a trials boot. in terms of protection, trials boots will fall half way between your road boots and moto x boots. If you are starting out your road boots will do, after that have a look at appleyards in keighley (i am not sure that the Leeds branch stocks trials boots)
