jsp
Just a quick word of worning whilst we are in this deep freeze, i tried to start my beta rev 4 yesterday and the kick start was locked solid after a bit of head scratching i checked the coolant level and couldt see it in the top of the radiator, so i put some warm anti freeze in and poured a few litres of warm water over the engine and radiator, tried to start it and she fired in to life. i have now emptyed the rad and refilled with anti freeze and shes now all wrapped up. dont think i will be that lucky again !!!!!!! jsp Edited January 10, 2010 by jsp
dan williams
Last time I started the Rev3 I had to put the blowtorch to the cylinder for a minute to heat it up before she'd fire and she's full of Engine Ice (brand name not...) coolant. You may not have had a freeze issue just too cold to properly vaporize fuel and seal compression rings.
