Is it possible to but a Sammy Miller b40 tank or a similar retro tank on a Ty frame. Its just I love the look of the pre 60's. Iam legal on the road with mine and i'd like to vintagify it, alloy mudguards and a few other diddy things. I have banged me head a few times in the woods so maybe thats my excuse. Cheers Squid. ducman Posted January 15, 2010 Report Share Posted January 15, 2010 (edited) Hey sqid,easyest thing is what i did with my TY 175.Put a TY 250 tank on it polish the alloy and you have a very nice classic look.Here is my Ty 175 with the 250 alloy Tank,not polished.
