Rmc Boxing Day Trial.

Hi,

Did any one here go to the richmond boxing day trial?

I did, i was completly knackered (listen to me, making excuses already) and felt a little ill

My dad was going to come about an hour after he took me down as he had some stuff to do anyway i fived the first 5 sections (naturally) and was going to retire! Because i thought i was too tired and felt pretty ill now

So we went home to get my digital camera (thank you santa) i thought i could take some photos and put them up on tc. After 3 trips halfway from my house to the trial we got some batteries which worked.

On our way i formatted the card and it took all the battery power (duracells got plenty left my a**e) So i got back to the trial and was feeling a little better and started riding again after several thousand fives and a little technique i call doubling up (2 laps go through sections twice in a row) i reached section 9 (finally, which idiot put it all the way up there ) fives again feeling very ill by now and very tired i continued on to section 11 only reaching it to see the observer (daisy) packing all his flags up. And so i didnt finish.

So the moral of the story is, dont be knackered, and dont bottle out or when you bottle back in you'll be out of time

I probably came last out off all the non finishers! But i had fun which is the aim... right

Anyone else go and what did you think?

p.s i want a higher powered bike than a 125, i can have one until 2006 right, and does anyone know what age you are when you move from youth b to adult b, or whatever its called you know what i mean

sounds like you had a fun day riding and santa was very kind with them pressie's. perhaps your new years resolution is to go for the '3' rather than accept the '5'
