pete_scorpa3
By the time you get to Top Farm it'll be more like Swimming Baths not Star Bars. We really have got the worng weekend this year! The forecast for tomorrow couldn't be much worse. Still look on the bright side, Wrighty has managed to find three rocks this year, so it's not ALL wet muddy off cambered roots!

mickmetcalfe
Chips Quarry was indeed the group for rocks but is no longer available to us. Cotstone was the other major group with the hard stuff but is now completely full of land fill... Here we go then- the super high tech scoreboards are back home so here are the top few: Dan Thorpe 7 Ross Danby 10 Sam Haslam 13 Sam Connor 17 Ricky Wiggins 18 Buster Regan 19 Ben Sprigg 22 Ben Wibberley 23 Chris Pearson 24 Guy Chandler 28 Dave Clinkard 29 Tom Nicholas 29 Colin Crease 29 Ian Watts 30 Shaun Fox 33 Phil Disney 33 James Fry 35 Ben Morphett 36 Andy Blackman 39 Dan Farrer 46 Richard Allen 46 Tony Cowley 50 Simon Bird 51 Matthew Jones 53 Phil Ducker 55 Mick Boam 56 John Cowley 56 John Luff 57 Barry Roads 57 James Graham 58 All results are unofficial with no tie breaks decided and subject to Big Rich doing the real results which will hopefully be issued tomorrow. We hope you all enjoyed the day out although once again the weather was a major factor. As the club chairman, I'd like to publicly thank everyone who helped make this event possible including the landowners and observers but especially my fellow club members who have given up literally hundreds of hours of their own time to set out it all up and of course, clear it all up afterwards. Next year marks the 100th anniversary of the event first being run and we are currently making plans to mark the occasion. Records show the event started early in Birmingham and had the lunch stop in Banbury. Today's course looks a bit short in comparison! the addict
Ian that off had nothing to do with lack of grip, more like running into a stump I didnt spot i got alot more grip today than many others, Huge thanks to the Stratford Club for a brilliant trial, as Mick says hundreds of hours of time spent sorting out the event which at this time of year with daily changing weather conditions must have made things even tougher. Great job everyone, thought the trial was spot on, didnt like section 1's first drop down the hill did me the world of good though as nothing got any worse than that all day Edited February 28, 2010 by The Addict

Be aware that these are riders totals and not the class finishing orders. Some of the above may have been on the 50/50 support route. Well done to Dan Thorpe for winning the Colmore for the second time. Ross Danby looked like he had it in the bag until he lost five marks at section 38 where most went clean, after his front wheel suddenly washed out on the drop to the ends cards. As Mick said, thanks to all the people who worked so hard to put on this years Colmore Cup. Pete
