kinell
It's pointless telling you to turn the idle screw up, as it will want to set off on it's own. My daughters bike did the same so I took it back to the shop, not sure what they did to it but it's been right ever since In fact, I think they put a new carb on it if I remember correctly... madman
yeah ive turned the idle screw up in fact its fully in. i took the carb apart to make sure there was no dirt inside. i took the reed valves out to make sure there was no dirt in them i did notice that one reed was not tight shut would this have any effect ? doughbouysherco
Hi, not much help im affraid, just like to say i bought one new for my son and all the year we had it it never ran right. Depending on how hot the engine was it would either not idle or rev&go. With frequent trips to my dealer we decided the carb was pants with only the main air screw and no fuel mixture at all. He said it might be possible to fit a yamaha carb with a slight mod, we opted for the sell. Rev 50 is a different beast.
madman
would a sticking reed valve petal cause bad idling i stripped the manifold and one petal stays open a millimetre or so?
