betalatethannever Posted February 8, 2010 Report Share Posted February 8, 2010 Hello. I have a few friends who ride trials but until now I have resisted the temptation to join them. Now, after 34 years of road riding I have decided to get my first trials bike. Cunningly, I have waited until I have a bad back, arthritic hip, and 3 stone of surplus weight before taking the plunge, so my (and everybody else's) expectations are quite low. Nevertheless, my last two outings have been fantastic, and the people I have met have been really helpful. I think I'm going to enjoy this. Thanks for the advice RichT and the welcome posts from all. I intend to have go as a few riders have said it would be ideal. I've just about got the bike right now so it needs to be done.
