I've got a 2000 sherco 250 and when it's running milky fluid comes out the crankcase breather. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Thanks

Well, unless you have been playing submarine it would most likely be due to coolant entry into the gearbox area via leaky waterpump seals and shaft.

Ck to cee if you have coolant loss as well, which would verify that theory.

Where are you located?

Mine was doing this and it was due to having slightly too much oil put in the previous oil change. I changed the oil, put the required 450 ml in and at the trial the next day it leaked like a sieve. Now when draining the oil I make sure I measure what came out ;)

Cheers

Lean the bike well over at a 45% angle with the bars propped on a stand of sorts to get all the old stuff out and you should be fine with the standard 450ml refill  .
