Possibly more for fork work! If you plan on buying one in the future, get a lift stand. andy.t Posted February 26, 2010 Report Share Posted February 26, 2010 If you want to make a cheap bike stand get hold of an old office swivel chair, ones with the hydraulic ram are OK, or just the standard one, unbolt the seat and chop off the back rest, stick a bit of wood on top. andy.t Posted February 26, 2010 Report Share Posted February 26, 2010 You know you can use a small adjustable spanner to tighten the nipples or even a small pair of mole grips if they are very tight.The spoke spanners are fine to use but you dont have to.
