squid
When I bought my bike the stand was a wee bit tucked under the bike and the foot plate never sat flush. At the weekend I left me bike on its stand on softish ground and it fell over. Now me stands just about holding the bike up but I wouldn't trust it in a breeze now. The actual arm of the stand looks straight. What Iam wondering and asking, can I wack the actual support, bracket , thing on the frame or would this damage the weld. Cheers. Squid. tony283
Wacking is NOT the answer! Best bet is to take to someone who has HEAT and bend it back where it should be. Another way is to take a long pipe over the stand, with the bike on its side, and gently alter the angle with some long leverage.
