big john
So I see! Birkett = Ossa Moto UK That's the original name used first by Peter Fletcher, then Cliff & Roger Holden back in the days of Mick Andrews. Big John

Andy
so what happens to scorpa? The message I got from Nigel was that he was hoping to carry on with Scorpa too.
godzilla
The message I got from Nigel was that he was hoping to carry on with Scorpa too. Sweet may get a good price for the SY again an Ossa.
baldilocks
A rather younger Mr Birkett has ridden an Ossa before in the early 70's Big John may be able to confirm the year as I think he rode it in the SSDT
gizza5
The message I got from Nigel was that he was hoping to carry on with Scorpa too. Hmmm! sure he would like to, but I am sure Ossa would put pressure on him to off load the Scorpa Importership to cocerntarte on pushing the Ossa? Rathmels went from Aprilia > Scorpa > Sherco if it was viable then surely they would have kept the last two.
gizza5
A rather younger Mr Birkett has ridden an Ossa before in the early 70's 1973.........29th OSSA 250 1974.........23rd Quinn OSSA 250 He then went to Suzuki

Andy
Birkett = Ossa Moto UKThat's the original name used first by Peter Fletcher, then Cliff & Roger Holden back in the days of Mick Andrews. Birks has asked me to point out a very rare Big John error (and only because he normally gets it right!) The new company is called OSSA Motos UK Ltd the old company was called OSSA Moto. Don't shoot the messenger!
cleanorbust
1973.........29th OSSA 2501974.........23rd Quinn OSSA 250 He then went to Suzuki From memory I think he had his brief stint with Kawasaki before joining Suzuki.
gizza5
From memory I think he had his brief stint with Kawasaki before joining Suzuki. 1975 he was on a Suzuki in the SSDT
cleanorbust
1975 he was on a Suzuki in the SSDT Correct, and I realise we're talking SSDT here. Just pointing out that the move to Suzuki wasn't directly from Ossa. Cheers.
