boni_tou_1 Posted March 28, 2010 Report Share Posted March 28, 2010 fan on nippers bike has only come on twice since xmas, new thermostat fitted and fan spins when thermostat is bypassed with a small wire. stork955 Posted March 28, 2010 Report Share Posted March 28, 2010 Gday, if the fan has come on its probably OK. You have been in colder weather and the fan wont kick in until the coolant is around 95 C. Keep in mind that being pressurised the coolant doesn't boil until around 110 C.
