eddie_lejeune
I dont think sealing the ignition cover completely helps.I know there are some folk who even seal the top of the wires at the headstock to stop water running down like through a drain into the ignition.Water WILL get in.It only takes a second to take off the cover and let it dry out after cleaning it or riding.Hey Eddie L-those 13 Betas you had;how long you keep each one? 1 year, I definetly recommend sealing the fly wheel casing but nowhere else, and I definetly would not drill holes in it
dan williams
My guess is the three plates change the total thickness of the clutch pack to accommodate a change in the throw of the actuator. The do look like there is a step in thickness between the fingers and friction surface. But that's just a guess. The anodized clutch basket may be a harder surface finish.
