cota1982
I HAVE AN AUDI A4 AND AM THINKING OF USING A BIKE RACK RATHER THAN A TRAILER WOULD THIS BE OK ON A A4......... jonnybmac
I use a Citroen Saxo VTR to pull my bike and that does it. Think I'm pulling my bike on its rack and a 3 bike trailer next week. Just like 1 person per bike
fivemeister
From a quick look (you need to verify) it looks like the noseweight of an A4 is 80kg. Considering most bikes are in the region of 70 - 75 kgs it should be ok. Just be careful until you are used to the different steering characteristics when using it - especially in the wet as it makes the front end much lighter. andy m
An A4 is a big car compared to some of the light weight hatchbacks some people use, I doubt you will even know the bike is there.
totalshell
carried my royal enfield on the back of a punto and a polo so as above you probably wont know its there on the back of an audi
pete_scorpa3
Yes, you see lots of cars smaller than an A4 with trials bikes on racks. I've never used one because we almost always travel in two's or three's to spread the cost of the fuel, so I stick to my trailer. hrcmonty
Back in the Day my old man used to carry 2 or 3 twinshocks, on the back of a mini pick-up. I carry mine on a rack, and i've got a golf. You won't even know it's there. We'll you will cause your forever looking to see if it's fallen off. I personally would like a trailer better. much easier, and gives you somewhere to stand on to get changed.
comorph
The new license holders will only be able to carry there bike on the back, Car or Pick-up) or in a van, as its another test to tow a Trailer, so I gather.

Only if the trailer is over 750KG in weight. I doubt even the three up trailers would make that!!!
