squid
I popped me pilot jet out and its clean, I'll buy a new one anyway to replace it though as its a little chewed on the head. Anyother thoughts as to me problem ie the lurching question. Cheers Squid.
houseape1000
Have a look inside the carb, on the engine side there will be a tiny little hole, this is part of the pilot circuit. There may be a tiny amount of crap in there..... I cleaned my old carb out with a strand of wire from a wire rope, and kind of drilled it between my fingers. Although some folk would urge you not to do this, it worked well for me ? Sometimes the inside can end up with a coating of what looks like varnish, it then starts to flake away, and blocks everything up. Got to be cleaned real good to get rid of it all. Out of interest....what carb is it ?
squid
Hello Houseape1000. Man I've had this carb off so many times in the last month. It does look clean in there now though. I havn't tried the wire way but Iam desperate so Iam going to give it a go. Hope this gets the juice flowing proper as I've got the shakes from not gettin out. The Carbs a Mikuni. I cant see any reference markings on it but its the 125 model. Cheers Squid.
