jamersby
My son's rev 80 has developed a clutch screech, the clutch works fine doesn't slip or drag just makes a noise, having looked through all 112 pages on this forum I haven't found the answer to this problem has anybody had the same and found a solution ? I am considering putting new plates in it but not sure whether to put standard plates or go for heavier plates (is there much difference) also whether to put stronger clutch springs at the same time. Any info would be appreciated.
prw
Replace the clutch with the competition clutch available from lampkins, it will sort out the screeching, we have done this to all our rev 80's straight from new.As i remember kit consists of clutch inner and metal plates only, you use the existing fibre plates.
