Per 5 Litres ?

I've been reading through a lot of the posts in the Scorpa specific area,

There seems to be a bit of difference in opinion about what mixture to run the bike on !

I would assume this would depend on what octane of fuel and type of 2 stroke oil used (full/semi synthetic)

I tend to use 97/99 Ron fuel and mostly Ipone fully synthetic oil !!

Bike is an 08 SY250

Can someone clear up how much oil i shoud be adding ( in ml ) to 5 litres of fuel ????

I've had my SY250 five years from new and always used 80mls of synthetic oil to every five litres of fuel. It's worked ok so far.

I've always run my bike on 80 to 1,

5000ml of petrol divded by 80 = 62.5ml so 63ml for arguments sake.

Some people run 100 to 1 or 70 to 1,

5000/100 = 50ml

5000/70 = 71ml

I've run 80 to 1 with BP Ultimate 96 Ron or Shell Optimax 98 Ron.

According to bigfoots handy chart i'm running 60:1 adding 80ml per 5 litres .................

I always use 75ml of motul 710 to 5l, too much oil will clog up your exhaust, you could run less than 75ml too with no bad affects. I was told not to use Ipone in my SY by a respected french trials bike importer, I'm not sure why tho.

yep, but I just go with 50ml oil to 4 litres, don't ask why, I just do probably easier to pour 50ml than 62.5
