jonny042
I'm not sure what is causing the seal to come apart I end up with little bits of rubber in the fluid, it came with dot 4 so thats what I have been using Mine was like that as well, possibly a sharp edge on the hole to the resevoir hose, which could waer away at the lip on the seal? laser1
I'm not sure what is causing the seal to come apart I end up with little bits of rubber in the fluid, it came with dot 4 so thats what I have been using I think thats normally good logic, but after what you've already done, It couldnt hurt to try somthing else. Sounds like a real head banger of a problem. Did you inspect the used Master Cylinder for burrs? If you get a another new one, I would be tempted to excersize it a few hundred times and inspect the seal for damage. I know several folks mention they honed or polished there MC, but havent done that myself.
