timp Posted January 16, 2005 Report Share Posted January 16, 2005 Heard something recently about an insurance scheme where your car has some kind of black box fitted that records the mileage you do and what time of day you drove. If it could be done with bikes it could be a cheap way for younger trials riders to get legal. Just riding on the road in daylight hours for say 20-30 sundays a year, 25 miles a time wouldn't put a lot of miles on your record. You're only going to be insured when you've got the black box fitted, so it seems that you should be able to leave it at home and forego any insurance? I heard it on the news too.
