Hi

I have just bought a 2005 gas gas 250 pro and it is brilliant :) ....

But I have a few problems with it,The side stand filcks up when it is parked even when its on a flat concrete floor and also the bottom yoke hits the frame when its on full lock. not like on my old montesa which has little nylon stoppers which the yoke hit insted of the frame. Is this hows its ment to be or it there a problem?? :)

Cheers Danny

Dave has it right, but it is done on purpose by GasGas so the stand self retracts. All you need to do is remove the spring and the little metal bar (extends the spring) at the end. The metal bit will be at the top in stock form, replace it with the metal bit on the bottom and your stand will stay down.

Yes, the clamps contact the frame at full lock...nothing to worry about.

Why do you call it the 250? arent they called 280? even the specs (least on the website I looked at) list the displacement at 272.2cc... and the 200's are 175.3cc

ya all are confusing not only me, but I think others... I keep thinking you have some new model al together?

(thanks, & from the US)

dang nevermind they apparently do make 250's over there, and dont import them (or export them depending on point of view) to the US.
