zero260 Posted May 30, 2010 Report Share Posted May 30, 2010 Hi all, just come in from the shed..... my project TY175 forks, are not what they seem! The bottoms are from the TY range (probably ty175) but the fork stantions (Outside dia size are 46.5mm) do not have the standard screw thread fork cap tops they have instead a wire circlip and a plug. does any one know if any other fork legs will fit, or can I buy new stantions? from ABE? with oil in them they seemed very bouncy! I invested in some legs from a DT175 (early C model?) but the stantions are too short....plus I cant get the bolt loose from the bottom of one leg. No amount of swearing has budged it!
