jmck Posted May 31, 2010 Report Share Posted May 31, 2010 Obvious first question is, do you have all of the bolts out? You will more than likely need a case-splitting tool to get them apart anyway. zippy Posted May 31, 2010 Report Share Posted May 31, 2010 When I split my 2000 2.9 I used Wayne's Helpful Manual If all the bolts are out a rubber mallet applied with the right thunkage in the correct outward from center direction worked well for me.
