Fuel Filter

My 2007 sherco 290 has no fuel filter between the carb and the tank, should there be one????????????????????????

If it has a dellorto carb, it will have one behind the round inlet elbow thats bolted onto the carb. Its i little mesh disc one.

OHHH, i hav'nt had the carb apart yet so i didnt realise, how often should it be cleaned then?????????

I would put an in-line one on anyway, 2 minute job and costs next to nothing.

you can do it every time you take the carb off as its only a 20 second job, so however often you take the carb off

sometimes fuel filters can reduce the amount of fuel getting to your carb, i have one on mine but been contemplating taking it off as if im gonig flat out for a period of time, my bike just cuts out as though its starved of fuel, was ok until i put the filter on

There is one in the tank to, so you don't really need another.
